How to Fix a MTP USB Device Driver Problem [SURE WAY]

I connected my Android phone to my PC and I heard the USB connection sound but my phone’s storages weren’t detected (both Internal and SD card). I checked under Device Manager and noticed that MTP had a warning icon (yellow triangle) on it meaning it had somehow malfunctioned.

The i try solving the problem by Downloading MPT (Media Transfer Protocol) Porting Kit from Microsoft's official website yet it didn't solve the issue!

>>To Fix MTP USB Device Driver Problem

Go to Device Manager, under Portable Devices, right-click on MTP USB Device, and then click on Update Driver Software to update the MTP USB device driver.

>>Select “Let me pick from a List of device drivers on your computer”. The list will show installed driver software compatible with the device.

>>Select the driver you want to install and then click “Next”. Reconnect your mobile phone to your computer.

How to unlock Bootloader of the Tecno Phantom 6 (A6)

>>first, before we begin, we have to enable USB debugging on Our Tecno Phantom 6 smartphone, to enable USB debugging mode, go to settings>>click on about>>continuously tap on the build number continuously for five (5) times to enable debugging mode.

>>next thing is to go to settings>> click on developer option and enable OEM unlocking.

>>Download the Minimal ADB and Fastboot setup.exe from here

-Follow the Installers instructions and select where you would like to install Minimal ADB and Fastboot too (For simplicity I choose to install it to the Desktop)
-After you have chosen where to install Minimal ADB and Fastboot too select whether you would like to create a Start Menu Folder or not for the instalationOnce you have chosen where to install it to and if you want to create a Start Menu Folder select the install option
-After the Installation Wizard has completed you can select to start Minimal ADB and FastbootYou can also start Minimal ADB and Fastboot by navigating to the Start Menu Folder you choose to create during installation or the desktop shortcut you choose to create and selecting Minimal ADB and Fastboot
-You should now see a command window open, with the command window open you can now issue ADB and Fastboot commands to your device

>>now connect your Tecno Phantom 6 to PC via USb cable.

>>after which launch your ADB and run the command provided in red below and press "enter".

adb devices

>>the work of the provided code is to make sure if the ADB detected your device.

>>now input and run the command provided below so as to boot your Tecno Phantom 6 into fastboot.

adb reboot-bootloader

>>after which your device will boot into "fastboot mode" after which your screen will go black and you "fastboot" will be written on it.

>>after which type the following command below and press "enter"

fastboot oem unlock

>>after which the code above will prompt your device asking you to confirm the "bootloader unlock"press the volume up button for yes.

>>wait till you get a success message, after which input and run the code below to boot your Tecno Phantom 6 (A6) into system mode, system mode also means the normal working device mode.

fastboot reboot.

Congratulations, you have successfully unlocked your bootloader of your Tecno Phantom 6 (A6).

How to Successfully Root Tecno Phantom 6 (A6)

How to root our beloved Tecno Phantom 6 (A6)?

Things We Need:
>>Unlocking the Bootloader of the Tecno Phantom 6 http://www.mtkspot.com/2016/10/how-to-successfully-unlock-tecno.html

>>Flashing the ported Hovatek TWRP recovery.img Download HERE

>> Flashing the SuperSU 2.76.zip Here

>>Download the Minimal ADB and Fastboot setup.exe from here

Steps by Steps:

Download TWRP for Tecno Phantom 6 (A6) ported by Team Hovatek

Extract TWRP recovery.img into the same folder we setup our adb/fastboot minimal tool

Download SuperSU above and Copy SuperSU.zip to internal storage Connect the phone to the PC via USB cord and boot it into Fastboot by
goin to settings>> click on developer option and enable OEM unlocking.
then type in command and hit enter via your adb and fastboot folder

adb reboot-bootloader

Phone will now reboot to Fastboot,

>>Flashing TWRP recovery to the phone by typing the command below then pressing Enter

fastboot boot recovery.img

It will automatically boot into TWRP recovery mode.

>>Flashing SuperSU2.76.zip while still in TWRP recovery mode,select Install Navigate to the location of the SuperSU2.76.zip and select it

Swipe to confirm flashing of SuperSU.zip and wait till flashing is complete

Reboot the phone your done :)

Note: if you get a prompt asking you to swipe to allow modification of the System partition, tap KEEP READ ONLY
- prompt to root the phone, select NO
